Multi Media Channels has acquired multiple media properties from Delphos Herald, Inc. and the Cohen family. The purchase included The Vilas County News Review, The Three Lakes News, and The Northwoods Trader in Eagle River, Wisconsin; the Iron County Reporter and The Reporter Shoppers’ Guide in Iron River, Michigan; and The Central Wisconsin Resorter and Waushara Argus in Wautoma, Wisconsin.

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. has agreed to acquire the assets of KUSI-TV in San Diego from Mckinnon Broadcasting Company and Channel 51 of San Diego for $35 million, plus a customary working capital adjustment. KUSI-TV is an independent television station, broadcasting more than nine hours of local news each weekday and nearly 60 hours of local news every week.

Hearst has agreed to acquire WBBH-TV from Waterman Broadcasting Corporation, subject to regulatory approval. The Nbcaffiliated television station is the market leader serving the Fort Myers and Naples, Florida, DMA. WBBH-TV also broadcasts the Heroes & Icons network on a digital sub-channel. Under the transaction, Hearst will assume Waterman Broadcasting’s programming relationship with Montclair Communications, Inc., owner of WZVN-TV, the market’s ABC affiliate. WZVN-TV also broadcasts the METV and Dabl networks on its digital sub-channels.
